Collection Technician

The Collection Technician role is onsite in Frederick, MD. Pay is $17.50 per hour. Fastest Labs of Frederick provides drug, alcohol, and DNA testing services to the local community. The technician performs specimen collections and testing while following chain-of-custody procedures and applicable DOT and non-DOT guidelines. Accurate records, confidentiality, and respectful client service help ensure reliable collection processes and timely status updates.

What you'll do

• Collect drug, alcohol, and DNA specimens following chain-of-custody procedures
• conduct urine, oral fluid, and breath alcohol testing under DOT and non-DOT guidelines
• process paperwork and electronic records
• maintain a clean, compliant facility
• communicate results and status updates
• follow privacy and confidentiality standards.
