The Outpatient Addiction Counselor, Qualified Health Professional (LMHC/LMSW) is an onsite role in Albany, NY. Compensation is $32–$36 per hour. The Addictions Care Center of Albany provides outpatient substance use treatment and supports people on their recovery journeys. The counselor provides individual and group counseling, assesses client needs, develops treatment plans, and coordinates referrals and care. The role contributes to client progress through clinical documentation and collaboration with the treatment team.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and group counseling
• conduct screenings, assessments, and clinical evaluations
• develop and update treatment plans
• maintain a caseload of up to 35 clients
• counsel adolescent clients within credential scope and regulations
• coordinate care and referrals
• maintain timely EMR documentation
• collaborate with the clinical team
• participate in meetings, case conferences, trainings, and committees.
