Toddler Teacher, Ages 1–3

The Toddler Teacher, Ages 1–3 role is onsite in Renton, WA. Compensation is $22–$26 per hour. The Learning Experience provides early childhood education and care, with a focus on helping children learn, play, grow, and thrive. The teacher creates a safe, engaging classroom and implements the L.E.A.P. Curriculum in ways suited to each child. The role also includes communicating with families, maintaining classroom routines and child welfare, and mentoring and supervising assistant teachers and support staff.

What you'll do

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum for toddlers and other assigned age groups
• maintain a safe, nurturing environment
• communicate with parents about children’s progress
• partner with center staff and leadership
• manage classroom routines and behavior
• mentor and supervise assistant teachers and support staff.
