Making Technician

The Making Technician role is onsite in Hunt Valley, MD; compensation is $21.96 per hour. The role supports Coty’s Making Department, which pre-weighs and makes bulk products for brands including Covergirl, Rimmel, Max Factor, Sally Hansen, and Philosophy. The technician prepares and mixes batches safely and to quality standards, supporting the production process and downstream filling and packaging teams. Accurate process monitoring and troubleshooting help maintain plant performance and product quality.

What you'll do

• Follow safety, quality, and operations procedures
• operate designated making equipment
• pre-weigh raw materials and stage them for batches
• monitor equipment and batch conditions including temperature, mixing speed, viscosity, pH, and color
• collect and report plant performance, utilization, quality, and yield measurements
• troubleshoot process, product, or equipment deviations
• perform basic equipment repairs, routine maintenance, and improvements
• use computer tools and identify improvement opportunities. Must be able to support assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays, and overtime when needed.
