The Float Teacher role is onsite in Rice Lake, WI; pay is $12–$13 per hour. This part-time position supports classrooms at Just Playing Child Care. The teacher provides coverage for breaks and staff absences while helping maintain safe, nurturing classrooms and supporting children’s daily routines, lessons, and developmental needs.

What you'll do

• Assist classroom teachers
• cover breaks, sick days, appointments, and vacation days
• after completing training requirements, serve as the staff person in charge for the first or last two hours of the day
• maintain a nurturing and safe environment
• assist with schedules, routines, and lessons
• respond to children’s social, emotional, physical, and educational needs
• engage children in assigned activities
• and assist with health and safety routines.
