Access Control Officer

Job overview

What you'll do

• Authenticate access and verify identification, badges, and credentials
• prevent unauthorized access and prohibited items
• monitor assigned areas
• inspect personnel and items
• document and escalate suspicious activity and security incidents
• process visitors and issue credentials
• operate screening equipment and physical and electronic security systems
• maintain visitor logs, access records, incident reports, and operational statistics
• coordinate security responses and communicate with stakeholders.
