What you'll do

• Assess wounds and create plans of care with goals, treatment implementation, and outcome evaluation
• educate residents, families, and staff on wound management and prevention
• provide direct nursing care
• supervise and monitor nursing assistants and other personnel
• provide education and counseling
• complete performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed
• follow applicable federal, state, and local standards.
