The Site Assistant I, ARCHES Navigation Center, Graveyard Shift role is onsite in Salem, OR, for $20.50–$21.20 per hour. The Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency invests in people and their futures to reduce the impacts of poverty; this position supports sheltering services at ARCHES Project sites in Polk and Marion counties. The assistant helps maintain daily shelter operations and supports clients through facility upkeep, clerical and data tasks, safety monitoring, and resource navigation. The role contributes to the agency’s community services by helping guests access program support and resources.

What you'll do

• Support shelter operations with cleaning, site upkeep, laundry, clerical work, and data entry
• engage with clients and monitor facility safety
• assist with meal preparation and distribution, mail, and access to laundry and computers
• use de-escalation techniques
• support ARCHES programs and client resource navigation
• participate in outreach as directed.
