Compensation is $100,000–$245,000 per year. The Maritime Surveillance LFA/CLFA System Design and Operations Analyst role is an onsite position based in Laurel, MD. , with a range of $100,000 to $245,000 annually. This role supports the Maritime Surveillance Systems (MSS) team. The role exists to assess the design and influence the capability development of the U.S. Navy's LFA and CLFA sonar systems. The analyst will conduct lab-based and at-sea assessments, develop new system concepts, and liaise between APL, sponsors, and fleet commands.

What you'll do

  • Conduct lab-based and at-sea assessment of sonar systems.
  • Ensure test scope and analysis methodology are comprehensive.
  • Apply surveillance domain experience to develop new system concepts.
  • Research next-generation technologies.
  • Coordinate with analysts to evaluate fielded systems.
