What you'll do

• Provide family medicine care for patients of all ages, including acute visits, chronic disease management, and preventive care
• see scheduled and walk-in patients, including same-day urgent care visits
• cover other Odessa clinics as needed
• evaluate work-related injuries and manage workers’ compensation cases
• perform DOT physicals and other employment exams and in-office procedures
• order and interpret labs, imaging, and EKGs
• prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
• refer patients and coordinate follow-up
• supervise and collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants
• oversee clinical staff and support quality, safety, and infection control
• document visits in Athena and support coding and billing
• participate in quality improvement and care coordination.

Why this role

Monday–Friday schedule; other clinic coverage may be requested within a 10–12 minute radius. Requires an MD or DO, Family Medicine residency, board certification or eligibility, Texas medical license or eligibility, DEA registration, and current BLS certification.
