The Registered Nurse (RN) — Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) role is an onsite, per-diem opportunity in Chicago, IL. Pay is $65–$70 per hour. What you'll do

• Assess pediatric patients and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and clinical changes
• develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• administer medications and treatments according to medical orders
• monitor critically ill children and respond to emergencies
• collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals
• educate families about treatment plans and ongoing care
• maintain clinical records and nursing documentation
• follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.

Why this role

Requires an active RN license, at least two years of acute-care pediatric PICU experience, at least one year of Epic EHR experience, and current BLS and PALS certifications. ACLS certification is required as applicable to the position.
