Express Lead Technician, Automotive Service

The Express Lead Technician role is onsite in Dallas, TX, at Carvana Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram's service department. Compensation is $28–$30 per hour. Carvana prepares vehicles to meet its quality standards as part of its effort to provide a no-hassle car-buying experience. This hands-on player-coach leads the Express service team, mentors technicians, and checks completed work while performing maintenance and repairs. The role also handles approved main-line repairs and warranty or recall work so customers can address service needs in one visit.

What you'll do

• Mentor and coach Express technicians on technique, efficiency, and quality
• perform quality checks on completed Express work
• perform oil and filter changes, fluid services, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections
• complete customer-approved repairs recommended during Express visits
• perform factory recall campaigns and warranty repairs according to Stellantis procedures
• document findings and communicate them to service advisors using digital inspections and video
• keep the Express lane clean, safe, and organized
• coordinate with advisors, parts, technicians, and leadership.

Express or quick-lube dealership experience is sought, with CDJR experience strongly preferred; Stellantis training is listed. Main-line repair ability and interest or experience in mentoring are expected. ASE certifications are not required. Overtime and weekend work may be required.
