What you'll do

• Consult catalogs and references for prices and specifications
• maintain material, price, inventory, and delivery records
• contact vendors for quotations and follow up on purchase orders
• expedite and adjust orders
• coordinate with production and warehouse teams
• evaluate supplier performance and resolve shipment issues
• match invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents with accounting
• enter purchase orders and RFQs
• update tracking and inventory locations
• process logistics requests.
