Fire Alarm Service Technician

The Fire Alarm Service Technician role is onsite in Vancouver, WA. Compensation is $60,000–$95,000 per year. Patriot Fire Protection provides fire prevention systems and services to protect customers’ lives and property. The technician maintains the reliability and code compliance of fire alarm systems through scheduled inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency service response, documenting work and communicating findings to customers.

What you'll do

• Inspect, test, and perform preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems, batteries, and wiring under NFPA 72 and manufacturer requirements
• diagnose and repair faults, nuisance alarms, and device failures
• respond to emergency and trouble calls, including an on-call rotation
• follow applicable codes and AHJ requirements
• complete reports and records
• explain deficiencies and recommended corrections to customers
• take on limited installation or upgrade work as needed.
