The Optician 2 role is onsite in Stockton, CA. Compensation is $17–$22 per hour. The role supports Brookside Optometric Group by helping patients select eyewear that matches their prescriptions and needs. The optician guides customers through frame and lens choices, takes measurements, adjusts and dispenses eyewear, and supports insurance billing and order processing. Accurate recommendations and service help meet patient expectations and support customer retention.

What you'll do

• Determine the reason for patient visits and identify lifestyle needs
• recommend eyewear based on optometrist prescriptions
• assist with frame selection and optical measurements
• recommend lenses, coatings, and frames
• take measurements, adjust and troubleshoot eyewear, and dispense it
• provide pricing and delivery estimates
• maintain displays
• assist with insurance billing and orders
• document patient communications.

Why this role
