The Bus Operator (Driver) role is onsite in New York, NY, with pay of $23–$25 per hour and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Cathay Express Transportation transports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to and from day habilitation programs throughout New York City. The role exists to provide safe, reliable, on-time transportation and a respectful passenger experience. The operator drives assigned routes, assists with boarding and mobility equipment, inspects and maintains the vehicle, communicates with dispatch, and completes trip documentation.

What you'll do

• Safely operate assigned vehicles and transport passengers on schedule
• assist with loading and unloading alongside the assigned Matron
• operate wheelchair lifts and secure mobility devices when assigned
• complete vehicle inspections, report incidents and defects, maintain vehicle readiness, communicate with Dispatch, and complete transportation records.
