Decision Systems Engineer

The Decision Systems Engineer is an onsite position in Laurel, MD. Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $195,000 annually, and the role supports APL's air and missile defense programs. This role exists to define and develop command and control (C2) systems that deliver trusted, mission-relevant decisions to the warfighter. The engineer will contribute to systems engineering activities within a focused digital engineering development process.

What you'll do

• Contribute to systems engineering activities on air, missile, and multi-domain defense programs.
• Develop and evaluate new capabilities.
• Use models and simulations to evaluate different options.
• Translate selected concepts into functional and performance requirements.
• Present results in technical meetings and program reviews.
