The mechanic helps keep shop equipment safe, reliable, and operational by diagnosing problems, performing repairs and preventive maintenance, documenting work, and coordinating with the Shop Manager and team.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain skid steers, mini excavators, tractors, diesel equipment, and small-engine equipment
• perform preventive maintenance
• repair hydraulic systems
• identify parts and assist with ordering
• maintain a clean and safe shop
• document work and communicate equipment conditions
• assist with loading and unloading as needed.
