The Team Lead, Ground Operations (3rd Shift) role is onsite in Dallas, TX, working Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Pay is $40–$63 per hour. The role supports Zoox fleet maintenance and mission readiness operations. The team lead directs overnight maintenance, rework, and readiness activities so vehicles are prepared and available for daytime operations. The role combines technical escalation, team leadership, workflow improvement, and coordination across mission readiness and base operations teams.

What you'll do

• Lead and coach technical staff and contract personnel
• support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training
• assist with schedules and performance tracking
• improve maintenance and readiness workflows
• lead vehicle maintenance and rework
• escalate complex technical issues
• analyze and report fleet data
• enforce workshop safety
• ensure software and firmware deployment
• direct vehicle intake and pre-mission checks
• oversee vehicle movement and storage
• drive and maneuver vehicles when needed
• support operations across multiple sites.
