API Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, execute, and automate REST API tests
• develop test plans, strategies, and traceable cases for positive, negative, boundary, and error scenarios
• test HTTP methods, status codes, headers, and JSON payloads
• validate connectivity, processing, transformations, and database outcomes
• perform manual testing and expand automation
• create Python or tool-based scripts
• integrate with CI/CD and DevOps workflows
• collaborate on defect triage
• document results and track defects
• contribute to framework and tool selection.
