The Facilities and Logistics Specialist role is an onsite position supporting Cincinnati Animal CARE at its Cincinnati, OH locations: 3949 Colerain Ave, 4210 Dane Ave, and 5035 Winton Rd. Pay is $16.19 per hour during training and $18.50 per hour after successful completion of training. Cincinnati Animal CARE protects animals, supports the community, and helps save lives through care, advocacy, and education. The role supports shelter operations by moving and transporting dogs, assisting with animal care and facility upkeep, and handling logistical and maintenance tasks. It contributes to safe, coordinated care across facilities and medical appointments while helping maintain clean animal spaces, vehicles, records, and supplies.

What you'll do

• Move dogs within CAC facilities and transport them safely between locations
• perform other shelter or medical transport as assigned
• update dog locations and notes in the animal population software
• assist with monitoring the in-care dog population
• clean and disinfect cages, kennels, and animal-use areas under Dog Care Lead supervision
• feed and water dogs under supervision
• maintain dog living spaces and company vehicles
• assist with dog records
• perform basic shelter maintenance
• help maintain equipment, buildings, grounds, and supplies
• transport inventory between locations
• transport animals for scheduled surgeries and medical appointments
• assist with dog handling during afternoon medical examinations
• report medical, behavior, and safety concerns
• provide compassionate animal care.
