Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift

The Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift role is onsite in Northbrook, IL. Compensation is $30–$34 per hour. The technician supports a metal fabrication facility that manufactures dental instruments. The role maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment to reduce production downtime and respond to equipment needs. It works with Production and maintenance personnel to prioritize issues and keep equipment and work areas safe and organized.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• respond to breakdowns
• diagnose problems and make repairs, adjustments, and component replacements
• inspect equipment for potential issues
• coordinate with Production and maintenance personnel
• follow safety procedures
• document work and communicate equipment issues.
