The Manufacturing Technician role is onsite in Shelbyville, KY, at an aerospace production facility. Pay is $24–$28 per hour. voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation supplies custom roll-formed metal components to industries including aerospace, construction, material handling, and transportation. The technician provides technical support to manufacturing operations and production, helping troubleshoot equipment and process issues, improve quality and costs, and maintain reliable production. The role also operates equipment, supports installations and training, and follows safety and quality procedures.

What you'll do

• Assist Maintenance and Engineering with equipment and process troubleshooting
• provide technical problem-solving support to Production
• coordinate across departments
• assist with equipment installation and relocation
• operate laser weld or mill equipment when needed
• complete reports
• help train team members
• participate in Lean Production
• test supplies and consumables
• maintain inventory and requisition supplies
• follow SOPs, blueprints, safety, ISO, and lockout/tagout procedures
• set up machines and basic robots
• perform laser maintenance and weld testing.

Why this role

Primarily 5:00 AM–3:30 PM Monday–Thursday, with overtime on some weekends; flexibility to work different shifts as required. High school diploma or GED and three to five years of related experience, or equivalent, required; US Person status under ITAR and EAR required.
