What you'll do

• Start and monitor IV therapy
• administer fluids safely and effectively
• assess physical health and vital signs
• monitor response to treatment
• prevent and manage infections associated with IV therapy
• conduct physical and mental-status assessments and identify contraindications
• maintain accurate records of interactions, services, assessments, and responses
• explain therapy to clients and help them feel comfortable
• support clinic operations as assigned.
