Job overview

The Lead Life Safety and Fire Alarm Field Technician is a full-time, onsite role based in Humble, TX; compensation is $25–$50 per hour. Houston Fire & Security designs, installs, repairs, inspects, and maintains commercial fire protection systems. The technician installs, services, repairs, and inspects fire alarm and life safety systems at client sites. The work supports system functionality and customer compliance with applicable safety protocols and regulations.

What you'll do

• Install, service, and repair fire alarm systems and components, including programming control panels
• troubleshoot low-voltage life safety systems
• conduct life safety and portable fire extinguisher inspections
• work with clients onsite to meet safety and regulatory requirements
• and support projects involving related fire protection systems as needed.
