Aerospace Assembler and Laminator — Weekend Shift

The Aerospace Assembler and Laminator openings are onsite in Sumner, WA, on a Friday–Sunday schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Compensation is listed by level: Level I, $22.25–$26.25; Level II, $24.25–$28.25; and a further Level II range, $26.25–$30.25, with four comp hours. SEKISUI Aerospace manufactures composite structures and assemblies for aircraft manufacturers. These production roles contribute to aircraft component manufacturing through composite lay-up and finishing assembly work. Laminators follow manufacturing plans and standard work instructions, while assemblers use job traveler instructions and tools to complete composite product assembly.

What you'll do

• For laminator openings: lay up composite materials on mandrels and wrap molds according to manufacturing plans and standard work instructions
• check prior documentation
• verify materials and part identification
• sign off on work
• meet production schedules and takt time. For assembler openings: follow job traveler instructions
• assemble parts using hand tools, adhesives, and jigs
• wrap insulation blankets
• sand and abrade components
• may perform light riveting.
