What you'll do

• Review menus and prepare meals
• implement dietitian recommendations and process diet changes received from Nursing Services
• prepare meals according to menus, recipes, therapeutic diets, and special diet orders
• serve meals using portion-control procedures
• prepare bedtime snacks and substitute foods
• assist with meal service and special events
• clean food service areas
• maintain food and supply stock
• follow safety, hygiene, infection control, confidentiality, and facility policies
• report concerns and participate in required training and emergency drills.
