Manager, Color Production and Quality Assurance

The Manager, Color Production and Quality Assurance role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA. The base pay range is $90,000–$130,000 per year. Thrive Causemetics is a vegan cosmetics brand whose Bigger Than Beauty program connects product purchases with donations to support communities. The role safeguards color accuracy, consistency, and product quality from development through commercial production. It reviews batches and packaging, works with internal teams and manufacturing partners to resolve issues, and maintains approved standards throughout the product lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Review pilot, line trial, production, and commercial bulk batches against approved standards
• evaluate manufacturing submissions and provide feedback and approvals
• support production oversight and time-sensitive decisions
• travel to manufacturing facilities as needed
• investigate quality complaints and discrepancies
• support root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions
• maintain production standards, samples, and records
• review packaging and artwork
• support continuous improvement.
