The Child Care Lead Teacher role is onsite in Findlay, OH; pay is $14.50–$18 per hour. Advantage Early Learning Academy provides early childhood education centered on play, exploration, and positive relationships. The lead teacher plans and delivers developmentally appropriate learning experiences, maintains a safe and inclusive classroom, and guides assistant teachers to support children’s individual growth and development.

What you'll do

• Implement play-based curriculum aligned with Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards
• prepare weekly lesson plans
• supervise children’s health and safety
• complete observations, assessments, and developmental documentation
• communicate with families
• lead routines and transitions
• mentor assistant teachers
• maintain classroom organization and supplies
• participate in meetings, training, and professional development.
