What you'll do

• Monitor pricing and maintain vendor price lists
• create MRP reports and purchase orders
• confirm delivery dates and pricing
• source materials and components for new projects
• arrange inbound shipments
• route substitutions through Quality change control
• monitor component arrivals
• coordinate tanker orders and delivery schedules
• report supply issues
• verify freight costs and costed receipts
• report material receipts and production numbers to customers
• provide inventory counts
• prepare and update job-cost worksheets
• match accounts-payable vouchers with purchase-order receipts
• maintain documentation and vendor relationships.
