Shipping Technician Full-Time

The Shipping Technician Full-Time role is an onsite position located in Green Bay, WI. This role exists to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including driving a forklift, scanning inventory, and creating shipping documentation. The technician works in a team-based system and must be able to work all shifts, including rotating or straight night shifts.

What you'll do

• Work safely and follow all related policies and programs to assure a safe working environment.
• Drive forklift to load and unload items from trailers.
• Accurately report items loaded, unloaded, time, etc.
• Scan in assigned inventory items for accurate inventory.
• Maintain inventory of finished goods and plant supplies.
• Create computer generated and manual Bill of Ladings when needed.
• Contact carriers for outbound shipments.
• Load trucks according to customer specifications.
• Place protective sheets and pads on unit loads and bands per instructions.
• Mark unit loads as required.
• Track inventory of banding sheets and pads and notify manager of items needed.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
