Senior Construction Inspector — Public Works

Job overview

The Senior Construction Inspector role is onsite at project sites in the Los Angeles and Newport Beach, CA areas; compensation is hourly under the applicable California prevailing wage determination, with no numeric rate specified. The role supports Ardurra’s Public Works Inspection Group and Southern California clients. The inspector monitors construction work for contract, safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance and documents field conditions. The work helps clients deliver infrastructure and facility improvement projects, including water and wastewater, utilities, roads, bridges, parks, and buildings.

What you'll do

• Represent client interests
• monitor compliance with contracts, specifications, traffic control plans, environmental requirements, and safety plans
• coordinate third-party inspections and materials testing
• document construction schedules and daily activity
• verify pay-item quantities
• develop punch lists and monitor completion
• support simultaneous projects.
