The role also supports safe kitchen operations by following sanitation procedures, maintaining dish-area order, and assisting with supply movement and related kitchen tasks.

What you'll do

• Scrape and rinse dishes and wash them by hand or machine
• wash pots, pans, and trays
• polish silverware as assigned
• follow safety procedures and maintain required temperatures and chemical levels
• keep the dish area orderly
• sweep and mop kitchen floors
• clean food-preparation surfaces
• remove trash and clean garbage cans
• transfer supplies and equipment
• help load and unload supplies and products.
