The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) — Day Shift role is onsite in Scottsdale, AZ. Compensation is not specified. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse, the CNA provides direct patient care to help meet identified patient outcomes and hospital goals. The work includes assisting with daily activities, supporting comfort and safety, communicating observations, and documenting information as patients work toward greater independence.

What you'll do

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation, and transfers
• provide emotional support and companionship
• help maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection-control protocols and assisting with housekeeping
• communicate patient needs and observations to patients, families, nurses, and therapists
• document patient information and vital signs as directed.

Why this role

Current BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. Current, unencumbered Nurse Assistant certification is required in states where applicable; previous CNA experience is preferred.
