Digital Specialist I — Document Scanning

The Digital Specialist I — Document Scanning role is onsite in Akron, OH, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Pay is $15.50–$16.00 per hour. The role reports to a Digital Manager or Digital Supervisor at VRC Companies. The specialist converts printed materials into digital images by preparing and scanning documents to customer specifications. Accurate scanner setup, image quality, document tracking, and support for preparation and indexing help the team meet productivity and quality standards.

What you'll do

• Prepare and scan paper documents according to customer specifications
• adjust to changes in customer directions
• use automatic feeder and flatbed scanners for varied paper sizes
• set scanner parameters for each job
• clean and maintain scanners daily
• log document and box numbers for retrieval
• assist with document preparation and indexing
• complete other assigned tasks.
