The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Champaign, IL. Pay is $28.10–$40.30 per hour. The position supports the Maintenance Department at Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System, which manufactures vehicle seating systems.

What you'll do

• Inspect, test, diagnose, maintain, repair, and modify facility machinery, controls, and circuitry.
• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, make adjustments and repairs, conduct preventive maintenance and calibration, maintain system logs, and coordinate with contractors, engineers, and equipment representatives.
• Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.

Why this role

Requires five or more years of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience, plant electrical and mechanical systems experience, hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge, electrical soldering, copper tubing sweating, and electric welding skills. Industrial PLC experience is required; Mitsubishi experience is a bonus. A technical degree is a plus, not required.
