The Maintenance Technician, Electrical/Mechanical role is onsite in Ravenna, OH, on a Monday–Friday evening shift (2nd or 3rd shift). Compensation is $27–$34 per hour, with a $1.50-per-hour evening differential. The technician supports a plastics compounding manufacturer’s plant operations. The role exists to keep plant systems and production equipment operating safely and reliably. By troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, completing preventive maintenance, and supporting process improvements, the technician contributes to stable compounding operations.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• maintain mixing and extrusion equipment
• interpret technical drawings
• repair conveyors, pumps, valves, and mechanical drives
• document scheduled preventive maintenance and TPM activities
• coordinate with vendors
• follow LOTO, permit-to-work, OSHA, and NFPA safety requirements
• provide scheduled after-hours and weekend on-call support
• support process improvements and spare-parts planning.
