Utility Locator (Field Technician) — Seymour

The Utility Locator (Field Technician) role is onsite in Seymour, IN. Starting pay is $21.25–$28.25 per hour, based on previous locating experience. Stake Center Locating trains technicians to locate underground utilities and help prevent damage in the community. The role identifies underground utilities, troubleshoots locating needs, and marks locations with paint and flags. Technicians use maps, blueprints, tablets, and locating equipment to process tickets accurately and communicate with peers, managers, and homeowners.

What you'll do

• Use a tablet to receive, document, and process tickets and emails
• read maps and interpret blueprints to determine locating methods and sequence
• use provided equipment and technology to locate underground utilities
• mark locations with paint and flags
• communicate with peers, managers, and homeowners
• follow safety practices and complete assigned training.
