What you'll do

• Conduct safety and security inspections of common areas, resident corridors, parking areas, and perimeter access
• check doors, windows, and gates
• patrol property to prevent and identify violations of criminal, fire, or safety codes
• report hazards and unsecured areas
• investigate and report unlawful acts, safety hazards, incidents, and suspicious occurrences
• respond to security calls and complaints
• handle on-scene emergencies until relieved by a supervisor
• secure and unlock areas and buildings
• assist with emergency response procedures
• secure outdoor furniture and fixtures during inclement weather
• drive the community vehicle if necessary.
