Learning Center and Church Engagement Coordinator

The Learning Center and Church Engagement Coordinator role is onsite in Portland, OR, with compensation of $22–$24 per hour. The position combines church partnership development with learning-center coordination for residential and transitional housing programs. It connects churches and volunteers with CityTeam’s work while helping clients build individualized learning plans and prepare for employment, housing, and other next steps.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain church partnerships
• coordinate church visits, volunteer opportunities, events, and speaking opportunities
• track engagement goals and outcomes
• coordinate learning-center plans and procedures
• conduct client screenings and assessments
• create individualized learning plans and provide instruction
• maintain client files
• recruit local businesses for employment and internship opportunities
• assist clients with exit plans
• serve as case manager for up to five clients
• and facilitate classes as needed.
