Veterinary Practice Manager

Job overview

The Veterinary Practice Manager position is onsite in Renton, WA, and requires 40 or more hours per week; compensation is $35–$40 per hour. The role supports the hospital’s veterinary care, client service, and team operations. Working with the Principal Doctor and other leaders, the manager oversees staff, hospital operations, and performance so the team can deliver consistent care and service while meeting productivity and budget goals. What you'll do

• Partner with the Principal Doctor to support high-quality veterinary care and client service
• manage hospital efficiency, productivity, and profitability
• oversee and train employees in client service
• resolve client and employee conflicts
• support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and staff development
• develop annual plans, budgets, and productivity targets
• manage cash control, banking, supplies, and inventory
• maintain staff schedules and required license records
• support community outreach and marketing
• ensure policy, legal, safety, and medical-chart compliance
• participate in or lead team meetings.
