The Soft-Line Processing Team Member role is onsite in Urbana, IL. Pay is $16.50 per hour. The team member processes donated clothing and other soft-line goods, maintains a safe and welcoming work area, and supports volunteers. Accurate sorting and quality checks help prepare goods for Salt & Light locations and support the organization’s community programs.

What you'll do

• Greet volunteers and help maintain a friendly work environment
• keep the processing area clean and safe
• process soft-line items and check goods for quality
• meet processing goals
• assist volunteers and team members
• sort and identify clothing, shoes, purses, and linens
• learn and implement the clothing process
• teach volunteers tasks and follow up
• complete documentation.
