The Registered Nurse (RN) — Acute Care, Swing Bed, and Emergency Department role is onsite in Sundance, WY. Pay is $30.03–$42.73 per hour. The RN supports Crook County Medical Services District’s patient care across acute care, swing bed, and emergency settings. The RN provides adaptable, patient-centered nursing care across varying acuity levels and care settings. Assessment, skilled interventions, emergency response, education, documentation, and coordination with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team contribute to safe care and continuity.

What you'll do

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
• provide medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, monitoring, and emergency stabilization
• respond to emergent and trauma situations using advanced life support interventions
• educate patients and families
• initiate discharge planning and coordinate transitions
• document care and communicate during handoffs
• collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• mentor new employees
• monitor stock needs
• participate in quality improvement and departmental initiatives.

Why this role

Requires an active Wyoming RN license or compact-state eligibility and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC is strongly preferred. Full-time and part-time openings and straight day and night shifts are available.
