Job overview

The Commercial Electrical Estimator role is onsite in Grove City, OH. Compensation is $75,000–$120,000 per year. The role supports commercial electrical and low-voltage construction projects for the employer’s client. The estimator develops accurate cost estimates and competitive bid proposals by reviewing plans, performing quantity takeoffs, and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing. The work helps project and operations teams assess scope, manage costs, and submit complete bids on schedule.

What you'll do

• Maintain estimating documentation and project records
• perform electronic quantity takeoffs
• develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates
• review drawings, specifications, and bid documents for scope, requirements, risks, and opportunities
• solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
• analyze and negotiate pricing and scope
• assist with bid packages and proposals
• support awarded-project handoff
• identify conflicts, omissions, and scope gaps
• collaborate with project management and operations
• support value engineering and cost optimization.
