The Explosive Detection Canine (K9) Handler is an onsite, full-time position in Seattle, WA. Pay is $30.10 per hour. The role is part of Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services’ canine group, which conducts canine explosives and firearm detection. Working with a trained explosive detection canine, the handler searches assigned client sites and follows site-specific security protocols. The role also includes daily canine training and care, coordination with client security and law enforcement partners, and compliance with applicable procedures.

What you'll do

• Partner with a trained explosive detection canine to search assigned client sites
• liaise with client security managers, law enforcement, security personnel, and local partners
• train the canine daily in accordance with company policy and ensure its safety and well-being
• follow regulatory protocols and use required technology.
