What you'll do

• Evaluate and treat patients using appropriate diagnostic and treatment skills
• coordinate discharge planning with case management
• recommend and participate in cost-effectiveness and quality-of-care initiatives
• accept referrals and serve as admitting, attending, or consulting physician for hospitalized patients
• participate in academic programs, medical education, and research as requested
• document care to meet insurance requirements and promptly appeal denials.
