Tradeshow Construction Technician

Job overview

The Tradeshow Construction Technician role is based in Rumford, RI, with domestic travel of up to 30% to install and dismantle exhibits throughout North America. Compensation is $20–$30 per hour. The role supports the Tradeshow Manager and Construction Team Lead in preparing igus exhibits and displays. The technician assembles and dismantles booths, handles equipment and materials, installs display components, and maintains booth equipment. When not traveling, the role manages inventory and prepares the mobile exposition for travel.

What you'll do

• Assemble and dismantle tradeshow booths
• use hand and power tools
• load and unload equipment and materials
• install lighting, audiovisual equipment, monitors, graphics, signage, and product displays
• maintain and repair booth components and tools
• coordinate with the tradeshow manager and construction team lead
• manage inventory and prepare the mobile exposition for travel
• follow safety and venue rules.
