OB/GYN Billing Specialist

What you'll do

• Submit clean claims through athenahealth
• review and resolve rejections and denials
• follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims
• post insurance and patient payments
• work aging reports and outstanding accounts receivable
• review patient accounts
• process corrections, resubmissions, and appeals
• coordinate with front desk, clinical staff, and management
• maintain compliance with payer rules and billing regulations
• support collections and revenue-cycle improvements.
