The Shipping & Logistics Assistant role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, with compensation of $20–$24 per hour. Pipp Mobile Storage Systems provides customizable storage solutions to customers in retail, office, manufacturing, institutional, and horticulture sectors. The assistant coordinates shipping details and documentation to help ensure products are delivered accurately and on time. The role supports transportation operations by processing parcel shipments, coordinating with carriers, tracking shipment activity, and providing backup support during absences or busy periods.

What you'll do

• Coordinate customer-specific routing requirements through portals and email
• create and maintain skid sheets
• process parcel shipments and create labels
• coordinate deliveries with carriers
• track shipment volumes and truckload activity
• maintain shipment records and reports
• obtain proof-of-delivery documentation
• assist with shipment scheduling and documentation
• provide backup support for shipping operations.
