The Fire Alarm Inspector / Service Lead Technician role is onsite in Gastonia, NC, with compensation of $28–$40 per hour. City Fire & Safety is a family-owned fire protection contractor serving commercial clients across North Carolina and South Carolina. The technician inspects, maintains, installs, programs, and repairs fire alarm systems to keep customers’ life-safety systems operating properly. The role identifies system faults, documents inspections, and provides service that supports building and occupant safety.

What you'll do

• Inspect and maintain fire alarm systems
• diagnose and repair shorts, ground faults, and wiring issues
• install and program systems and panels
• troubleshoot alarm and supervisory conditions
• pull wire and install raceways
• monitor service-parts inventory
• submit inspection and expense reports
• identify customer risks and solutions.
